Course Creator and Lead Instructor

Doug Witten, principal of Innovative ADR International LLC, is an attorney, mediator, arbitrator, and negotiation coach who has 25+ years of professional experience. Doug has assisted parties resolve legal disputes in 1300+ cases thus far in his career and offers private dispute resolution services, in English and Spanish, across areas including healthcare, workers’ compensation, injuries and accidents, and commercial matters. He previously practiced law in two of the world’s largest global firms and served state government in various roles for over a decade. Doug is a panel neutral for several mediation and arbitration providers and has actively assumed a series of leadership roles in local, regional, national, and international dispute resolution communities. In 2021, Doug was inducted into the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals (NADN), an invitation-only association of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) professionals distinguished by their hands-on experience in the field of civil and commercial conflict resolution. Doug has written extensively on healthcare, negotiation, mediation, and related dispute resolution topics.
